Wiser choices are made when a broader perspective is considered.

When families have children, their choices shift to consider what will be beneficial for their children. Beyond what is fun for the moment, they look for choices that give their children a hope-filled future.

Choices that make strong, healthy families are good for everyone.

A wider perspective includes nations. Our choices as a nation affect other nations.

And people from many nations are within our nation. This has developed into very complex situations that do not have simple solutions. It seems that one aspect is fixed but another problem arises.

From my experience, the best solutions come from personally getting to know people. Hearing their story and their heart makes me understand what the real issues are. I can see why one solution is not completely effective. Together we can look for new choices.

Real compassion cannot come from a government. It comes from you and me!
