A Vote is a Choice

In America, one of our biggest choices is our vote.

As with any choice, carefully consider the consequences. Although a candidate may promise a specific consequence, the result could be the opposite. A great way to evaluate consequences is to look at reality results in other countries.

Spain elected a prime minister who established a program to give legal status to over one million migrants in the country. In July, 2026, an unexpected result was a two-day surge of 80,000 people across the border to a town of 83,000 citizens! Imagine that in your town!

Within two months, there were reports of citizens in various parts of Spain who would go out to dinner only to come home and find their house taken over by illegal immigrants! They were not being protected so tens of thousands of citizens in several cities gathered downtown to protest.

Remember the zinger: We always have a choice. We cannot control all consequences.

We lock our doors at night, so that we have the choice of who to let in.

How much more important to choose who to let into our country.
